A Patchin is an ingenious Japanese wooden handle with hidden magnets that transforms a furoshiki into a handbag in just a few simple folds. The magnetic handles securely snap together to help keep your belongings in place, while still allowing the furoshiki to be easily untied and removed. This bag includes a medium 27.6" × 27.6" (70 × 70 cm) organic cotton furoshiki and a pair of wooden Patchin handles. The finished bag measures approximately 11.8" × 5.9" × 5.9" (30 × 15 × 15 cm). The Patchin handles can also be paired with any medium or large furoshiki, making it easy to create a completely new bag whenever you'd like.

As a general sizing guide when wrapping, a furoshiki works best when it's about three times larger than the item being wrapped, giving the fabric plenty of room for beautiful folds and secure knots.
