The road we followed led us to create Lunamira - a carefully curated shopping experience designed to support you on your own beautiful journey. We believe the key to living beautifully lies in intentionality: actively seek out moments, people, and things that fill you with joy; create routines and spaces that support and revitalize you. 

When you enter Lunamira, you are greeted with a colorful wall of furoshiki cloths sourced from Japan. Furoshiki is the Japanese tradition of wrapping with fabric. These versatile cloths can be used for gifts, bags, bento boxes, bottles, home décor, and even scarves. We love that they're as sustainable as they are beautiful, designed to be used and enjoyed again and again. 

We feature a large selection of clean beauty skincare and makeup. Brands are chosen for their thoughtful, safe ingredients, effectiveness and sustainability practices. You are sure to find something your skin will love. We also carry fragrance, accessories, jewelry, paper goods, and other products chosen to bring joy into your life.

Lunamira was founded by mother-daughter duo Brenda and Miranda Jorgens, giving the store a unique multi-generational perspective. Brenda’s entrepreneurial journey began over 20 years ago when she opened Silly Munchkins, a toy and gift shop in Ketchikan, Alaska. While managing Silly Munchkins from afar, she began working for the Bainbridge Island Review in 2020 where she developed a deep appreciation for Bainbridge Island’s small business community. 

With a natural eye for curation and a deep appreciation for well-made goods, Brenda approaches Lunamira with intention and care. She wants to create a space where people can discover beautiful things, feel inspired, and experience a genuine sense of connection and community.

Miranda is excited to be a part of Lunamira and create something beautiful alongside her mother. She loves finding ways to level-up and romanticize the day-to-day to create a life that feels special.
