Oak Wood Hoptimist, Medium Classic

The wooden version of the Hoptimist is the essence of smiles, optimism and good humor, and with its natural materials and round, harmonious silhouette it spreads joy wherever it finds itself. The product is made from FSC™-certified oak (FSC-C166612).

Give it a gentle tap and watch it bounce, adding a playful touch to a desk, shelf, or bedside table. Dimensions: 3″ L × 3.3″ W × 4.2″ H.

Created in Denmark in 1968 by woodworker Hans Gustav Ehrenreich, Hoptimists began with a simple idea: to bring a little optimism into everyday life. These springy figures have since become Danish design classics, carrying on his belief that good design can make people smile.
