Furoshiki Rose, Deep Scarlet

A beautiful rose motif takes on two completely different personalities in this reversible furoshiki. Deep scarlet on one side and rich brown on the other, the contrasting colors appear together as the cloth is folded and tied, making the reverse part of the design rather than something to hide.

Made in Kyoto using a special double-sided dyeing technique, this furoshiki has no true front or back. The softly textured cotton shantung and traditional Japanese colors give the bold floral pattern a warm, timeless quality. Slight variations in the dye and placement of the pattern are a natural part of this double-sided process, making each cloth subtly unique.

Choose the 50 cm size for smaller gifts, books, bento boxes, and everyday wrapping. The generous 105 cm size is especially versatile for larger gifts, tying into a handbag with our wooden handles, wearing as a scarf, or using as a decorative textile.
