Carmen brings the unmistakable spirit of Trudon’s iconic Ernesto candle to the skin—not as a replica, but as a more intimate, sensual interpretation. Named for the fiercely independent heroine of Georges Bizet’s opera, Carmen centers on a rich tobacco-and-leather accord, brightened at first by bergamot, grapefruit and a warming splash of rum. Honeyed tobacco and textured leather emerge alongside clove and oakwood, before patchouli, labdanum, moss and modern ambroxan create a deep, lingering finish. Bold and sophisticated, Carmen is warm, woody and quietly provocative, with a confident sensuality that unfolds beautifully on the skin.

Created by perfumer Émilie Bouge, who describes the fragrance as a way of capturing Ernesto’s strength and character in a more intimate form.
