The windows are open to the first cold evening of the season. Something with apples is baking, music is playing from the other room, and a thin ribbon of incense smoke curls from the tip of a black witch hat on the table. This is when The Slow Dark begins.
Each Witch Hat Ceramic Incense Burner is wheel-thrown by hand in one continuous piece, giving every hat a character of its own. Some stand tall, some lean, and some have tips that bend just a little. Place a lit incense cone inside through the opening in the back, and the smoke slowly makes its way through the hollow hat before curling from the tip. Made for open windows, familiar movies, midnight margaritas, and women who know things.
Finished in a deep black matte glaze, each incense burner measures approximately 4"–5" tall and is designed for use with cone incense. Because each piece is formed by hand, subtle variations in shape, height, lean, and finish are part of its handmade character.
